FAQ about Lenticular software

  • What effects are achieved?
With lenticular technology you can print striking images with motion or 3D effect. The creative possibilities of these effects are endless.
    Flip and animation effects
The flip effect combines two or more very different images that change from one to the other as the angle of observation of the impression changes. The animation effect, meanwhile, is composed of various images with slight differences but that together form a small video sequence. The zoom and morphing effects become variations of this same concept.
    3D effects
In the 3D effects, the lenticular plastic allows each eye to see a slightly different representation of the same scene. The brain integrates both images and thus creates a three-dimensional illusion in the observer without the need for special glasses. The flip, animation and 3D effects can be mixed in order to maximize the visual impact of the images.
  • What is binocular disparity?
The key point of lenticular technology is that the observer sees different images depending on the angle at which the lenticular image is observed.
This characteristic is the key for producing the different effects.
  • What is needed?
In order to print lenticular images, three things are needed: our PSDto3D Lenticular Effects software, some lenticular plastic samples and a high resolution printing machine.
  • Lenticular Mobi software
Our software has been designed to cover all needs that exist for the generation of lenticular effects. Numerous printing manufacturers have already installed the software in their Demo Centers and are recommending it to their customers.
"We have been using PPOO.COM’s software for creating lenticular prints at tradeshows and Customer demos. Even though lenticular is not an easy and straight forward application, but one that really requires knowledge and precision, we were able to create stunning images in no time. I was surprised by the user friendliness of the software. And the manual answers all the questions that one might have about the software. We also find that the price is more than reasonable considering all the effects we can achieve."--Heidelberg
  • Lenticular plastic lens
Lenticular plastic We supply lenticular plastic of between 10 and 200 LPI. Its main markets are offset and digital printing.
We have agents in many countries around the world.
You can buy directly from them.Customers of our software are directly referred to the plastic agent that best suits .
  • Printing equipment
You can print directly on the plastic through UV technology (Offset and Digital) or on a stable paper medium that afterwards must be cold laminated together with the plastic and a transparent double-face adhesive (Inkjet).
  • What is viewing angle?
Viewing angle refers to the angle from which you're watching the image on screen. Viewing angle is pretty important for lenticular effects.
